I decided to write this post to look back at the last year in terms of reading, writing, etc, and miss out all the bad stuff that's happened in 'real' life (yes, I know reading, etc is also real life, but you know what I mean) - because, well, enough.
So, good stuff:
I have read quite a lot (she said, vaguely) - mainly online - so thank you to those who make that possible.
I have written quite a lot (equally vague - the statement, not the writing, though...).
I have posted over 60 poems online - the majority of which were new.
I have written 21 blog posts.
I have connected with some lovely people online and one in particular - and I will always be grateful for the feedback and support they have given me. And I hope I have given in return.
I have posted quite a few photos and very much appreciated the photos - particularly of birds - that others have posted.
When I look back at what I hoped I could do this year, that's a fair approximation of it. Which is pretty good, considering...
So what next? And I'm sticking with the good stuff here:
I want to read more - but I do need to clarify in my own mind what I want to read, and why.
I want to write more - but I do need to clarify...
I want to keep posting online.
I want to keep connecting with lovely people.
I want to see more birds (real life as well as photos), photograph more birds, post more bird photos, read and write about birds (oh look, I've done some clarifying right there).
I think that's sufficiently specific. So I'll leave it at that. And wish everyone lots of good stuff in the year ahead.
